Has anyone been able to use "Update manager" to upgrade the system sucessfully while running Ubuntu 8.10 on a USB created with application "create a usb startup disk "? I have tried 2 times with different USB Sticks 4GB and 2GB with the same result. Does the application work while running off of the USB Stick?
