Just curious if you disable your wifi if this issue no longer occurs?
I've seen other reports of system crashes related to iwlwifi. You may
also want to try installing linux-backports-modules-intrepid to see if
it makes a difference. Do you see any sort of kernel panic or oops at
the time you witness a crash?
