This problem still occurs in Ubuntu 8.10 final. Steps to reproduce: - Open Rhythmbox and play a song (in my case mp3) - Pause playback and leave Rhythmbox open for a long period - Continue playback
Rhythmbox will not continue to play. Sound in general is gone, and playback via Totem shows the movie but not the sound. The volume-icon in Totem is greyed out.
