Status in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
When the root filesystem is older than 40 mounts, it is mounted readonly. This
causes X to fail to start and no login can be obtained.

Workaround is to go to recovery mode - it then does an fsck on the
filesystem and you can boot normally
