I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS running with LTSP5. I can also confirm the fix of replacing the Hardy version of:
/usr/lib/libxcb-xlib.so.0 With the Gutsy version, as described in above comment. I have performed this fix on 2 separate LTSP networks and it seems to work fine, with no ill effects. The problem definitely lies in the changes made in the Hardy version of said file (linking to XCB?
