No. The battery applet works with Intrepid. Intrepid took me quite some
time to get running, because the install cd didnt configure my laptops
keyboard and mouse for some reason. A problem I didnt have with Hardy.
Also intrepid doesnt recognize my wireless card. I played around for some
time trying to get it to work with no success, so I had to revert back to
hardy because I need my wireless. My wireless card is junk using Hardy
also. For a short period of time I can get full speed wireless and then it
drops to 14kb/s. Anyway, I wouldnt concern yourself with this battery
applet bug because it DOES work with Intrepid. Unfortunately, until I can
use wireless with Intrepid and get my video card to do better than 800x600
I'm going to be forced to run an alternate OS. But believe me as soon as
its fixed ill be back with Ubuntu, which is what I run on all my other pc's
with great success. Keep up the good work. Wont be long and everyone will
be running linux. I even have my computer illiterate uncle running Hardy ;)
