After 3 days of YOUR OS telling me to report it. I did. I as a user, Do
not care where it went so long as it was solved. YOUR OS formatted it,
I sent it, that is all!!!!!!!!
Yours is a typical response that I get from ubuntu, Microsoft, and the
rest. thank you but go away.

If you tried to install the Sun debs and they failed report that to the
Sun bugtracker, its not Ubuntu's bug.

I tried to update from the ubuntu supplied Open Office 2.4 something to
Open Office 3.0 from Open Office. Used their .deb package. It totally
screwed up my system, would not install, some kind of dependency
problems. so uninstalled 3.0, then redid 2.4 something, more
dependency.
In my opinion all caused by ubuntu making a decision not to provide 3.0.
At present downloading Fedora, maybe they do not make stupid decisions
not to supply most up todate software, stick with out dated.
