I still have trouble updating hardy. In my case, the reason seems to be
/usr/share/python-support/hplip not being there (I guess the previous version
did not have it)
In any case, upgrades to edgy are no longer supported. Closing as
wontfix. Please continue to report problems you find in later versions.
