Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: expect-tcl8.3-dev
I have Ubuntu 8.04.1.
I would like to run multixterm.
I find it in expect-tcl8.3-dev package, installed it. But is says:
$ /usr/share/doc/expect-tcl8.3-dev/examples/multixterm
exec: 3: expectk: not found
There is some mess in packages and dependencies.
expect-tcl8.3-dev depends on expect-tcl8.3
and expect-tcl8.3 suggest expectk-tcl8.3, which is not available.
There is expectk, but it cannot be installed, as depends on expect,
which is in conflict with expect-tcl8.3.
I have 2 different suggestions:
1) either supply missing package expectk-tcl8.3
2) or include multixterm in some new expect-dev package (or other)
Thanks.
