I have seen lockups when using rhythmbox and allowing sound to go back
to the main system. This caused the keyboard to lock for a period of
time as the system became confused about what it was doing and took a
while to come back.

I changed settings to play sound on remote computer and I have not had
any issues since.

My main reason for the keyboard locking is using the tsclient and
leaving the IP drop box open. This fully locks the keyboard 100% of the
time. Jumping to a text terminal and killing rdesktop brings back the
system.
