OK, been playing around with this, it would seem that, by default, PureAdmin does not add the paths to "Default password file" and "Default puredb file".
I followed the manual here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PureFTP which details creating these files, not sure if they were already there after I had installed PureAdmin and the daemon, just followed all steps in the guide Then, opened PureAdmin, went on "Edit > Preferences", selected the "External" tab. Then changed the "Default password file" and "Default puredb file" paths to the ones created in the above guide, there was nothing listed in there initially! I still cannot connect the the ftp from my Windows machine, but thats another issue, I can now configure users and permissions OK! -- fails to save user configuration (clicking save does nothing) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121180 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
