Ralph's problem is something different that I already asked him to file
separately (haven't checked whether he did, though). As I mentioned
earlier, I'm pretty sure that the original problem was due to the merge
of volumeid into udev, and that this is no longer an issue when using
up-to-date hardy installation images, so closing this bug.
