such. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would

Your problem probably has to do with display drivers. When you are using the
vesa drivers, your processor is used to calculate the display pixels, which can
slow down the scrolling a lot. This can be solved by using official drivers
from the manufacturer of your graphics card, either free or non-free.
