Looking at that image you are hitting a very very early bug before
proper panic is even possible.  That is pretty nasty.

Please get the information in the forum pasted in here too.  Would make
reading the total bug information much simpler.

>From our IRC conversation it seems you have a working debian/lenny
installation so the machine is obviously bootable in general.  It also
gives us the ooptunity to get more information about the machine.

So I would recommend:

1) get the image from the forum loaded up against this bug as you need to 
register to read it which people won't bother to do,
2) get as much hardware information as you can off the Debian install: 
/proc/cpuinfo, lspci -vv, dmiinfo and attach them to this bug too, and
3) as you have a working 2.6.26 system, perhaps you could compile a 2.6.27 
mainline kernel and see if that boots with your Debian userspace.

The last of these will help to eliminate the differences from 2.6.26 ->
2.6.27 as the cause.
