Tremaine Lea's solution didn't quite work for me - killall pulseaudio,
sudo killall pulseaudio and sudo kill <pid> didin't work.

Sudo kill -9 <pid> did work, as did restarting pulseaudio return sound
to amarok.

Annoying bug none the less, since it's obviously been around for a
while.
