After building the latest v4l package, i have managed to get device to show up with "cat /proc/bus/input/devices". "evtest /dev/input/event6" also sees my remote input. Although when I do "/etc/init.d/lirc restart verbose" i still get this: * Stopping remote control daemon(s): LIRC [fail] * Loading LIRC modules [ OK ] * Unable to load LIRC kernel modules. Verify your * selected kernel modules in /etc/lirc/hardware.conf
