Tried this with an old Motorola A925 and my laptop bluetooth adapter,
identified as:
Bus 006 Device 004: ID 413c:8126 Dell Computer Corp. Wireless 355 Bluetooth
Username and password fields were empty, so no security issue at my end.

Please attach the output from:
* lsusb -v (if the device is a usb device)
* lspci -vvnn (if the device shows up as an pci device)
Copy and paste the output into a text file, and attach.
