  The source package I found the bug ::-> Linux kernel image for version 2.6.27 
on x86/x86_64.
   The release of Ubuntu I am using ::> Ubuntu 8.10 October 2008
  
  .I am new to Linux World.
- . I have xp & vista, I installed ubuntu with wibki  from Vista.
+ . I have xp & vista, I installed ubuntu with wubi  from Vista.
  
  .The first time ubuntu starts it checked for updates, I accepted.
  .All packages have been installed & the ' Linux kernel image for version 
2.6.27 on x86/x86_64' remained in the update manager & caused the error.
  
  Error:

- I need clear explanation to fix  the problem, I am new to Linux, I also need
