I work with Ubuntu EEE PC Version for my eeepc 4GB. Kernel:Ubuntu 8.04 LTS
After power off the display with "function" F3 die Display has 20 percent
power. Thats ok. After a few minutes the Display is turn off from the power
management, I move my mouse again, then has the display 100 % power, not the 20
% before the power management works. I would say thats a kernel problem.If you
need more information please contact me.
