Binary package hint: nvidia-glx
With something as simple as XScreensaver GLSlideshow.
As soon as I turn this on my Edgy box will crash completely at a random time -
blank screen and not able to SSH to it.
If I leave this turned off then box is completely stable (i.e, >48 hours no
crash).
Don't use much 3D normally so have not yet found setps to crash on demand.
I started with default package, have tried 9742 and latest Beta 9629 from
NVidia but still have the issue.
I have a 6600GT. (ASUS A8N-SLI Premium, Philips LCD TV, AMD X2)
Would be happy to help try to debug the issue.
