Thank you for trying to help make Ubuntu better.

However, I believe the resolution issue is not a bug. If you have an nVIDIA 
card, try installing the binary drivers. First, I would try reconfiguring X11 
by running the following command in the terminal.
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

You can hit enter for most of the steps, but I would advise you to
choose Simple or Medium for when you get to that step. Then, select the
resolution you would like and restart your computer (or hit
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace).

I know it is complicated, but as of now I believe that is the easiest
way to fix it.

As for the wireless, I do not know how to assist you because you were
not descriptive enough. I am closing this because it is not really a
bug, but feel free to reopen a support ticket if you could not figure
out the problems.
