When I click on menus such as a bookmark toolbar subfolder, I expect it to
drop down beneath the folder.
Instead it shows up on the first screen regardless if firefox is on the first
or second screen/viewport.
The same behavior was also in Ubuntu Desktop 8.04.
+
+
+ EDIT:
+
+ I've noticed that this occurs only if firefox was started when there were one
screen, and then you extend the viewport to the second screen with xrandr and
then move the browser/email client to the new screen.
+ If you kill/shutdown the applications and start it on the second screen the
menus show up on the second screen as it should.
+
+ This is still a bug though we have a workaround for it.
