G'day Anthony, I have succeeded in adding the noapic parameter to the kernel line in GRUB bt editing the kernel line during the boot sequence, and this has restored USB functionality. Is that it? I mean, do I now need to put the noapic parameter into the GRUB kernel boot line as a permanent fixture, or is there a better fix available now we know that this can restore USB function? Does having the noapic parameter in the boot sequence have any other consequences? What are these IOAPIC's that GRUB is now ignoring?
