I'm on the finished Edgy and the problem does not seem to be too bad.
On my machine, that site (http://www.vu.lt/ivykiai/) causes Firefox to
use around 20% to 30% CPU.  This may not be ideal, but my system is
still quite usable.  Konqueror does not have near the spike in CPU usage
when visiting the same page.  Does anyone else find the problem to have
been mitigated with Edgy final?
