Well I have just looked at xorg.conf with a view to modifying it and this is what I see:
# commented out by update-manager, HAL is now used #Section "InputDevice" # Identifier "Synaptics Touchpad" # Driver "synaptics" # Option "SendCoreEvents" "true" # Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" # Option "Protocol" "auto-dev" # Option "HorizEdgeScroll" "0" # Option "VerticalEdgeScroll" "1" # Option "MaxTapTime" "0" # Option "SHMConfig" "on" # Option "UpDownScrolling" "1" #EndSection I only upgraded from Hardy to Intrepid yesterday and then installed the patched kernel so I had not realized that this had happened. So my question is now How do I adjust the touchpad settings? -- Elantech touchpad is incorrectly recogonised as a "ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123775 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
