That looks correct. Can you reproduce this, or was it an one-time
glitch? If it happens every time, please try this:

  sudo killall jockey-backend
  sudo /usr/share/jockey/jockey-backend 2>&1 | tee /tmp/jockey.log

then try to start jockey from the menu. Does that work now? After you
close the window, press Control-C in the terminal where you started
jockey-backend.

If anything fails, please attach /tmp/jockey.log.

Is that a normal local session, or are you working over ssh, VPNC, or
anything like that?
