Ubuntu 8.10 (32bit)
Hello,
i have a DELL D810 with a ICH6 SoundCard.
The SoundCard works under the Live CD fine.
But at my installed Ubuntu the Sound dont work.
The /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base is the same.
I can't find a problem.
alsamixer i used to set the sound level to maxium, but it dont works.
The Soundtest with: "Hardware testing" and "Sound" unter System > Prefernces /
Administration
to not play a Sound.

I have testet with different Kernel Versions: 2.6.27-5, 2.6.27-6 and 2.6.27-7
but i think i isn t the kernel.
