Public bug reported:
I'm running 8.10 desktop edition on a Medion Akoya MD96640, and no sound
is working.
System->Preferences->Sounds has no device listed, and aplay -l outputs
"aplay: device_list:215: no soundcards found...".
lspci | greb Audio outputs the following:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio
Controller (rev 03)
Bug found on 2.6.27-10-generic kernel.
