** Tags added: ldm ltsp ** Description changed:
This happens on Edubuntu Edgy when ltsp clients log of from a gnome session via the logoff button. Immediately after clicking on the logoff button, the screen goes grey with only the mousepointer still visible but not reacting anymore. All I can do then is force a reboot of the client with Alt+Print+B, even Ctrl+Alt+Backspace doesn't work. /var/log/Xorg.6.log (in the chroot environment) shows: Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/TTF/, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/OTF, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/CID/, removing from list! (Not sure if these have anything to do with the bug...) + + P.S. I also have a .xsession-errors file from a client that crashed, but + don't know how to attach it here...maybe someone can give me a hint? ** Tags removed: ldm ltsp ** Attachment added: "xsession-errors from a user after the "logoff-crash"" http://librarian.launchpad.net/5216637/xsession-errors_after_crash -- X hangs occasionally when clients log out from ltsp sessions https://launchpad.net/bugs/73898 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
