Public bug reported:
Connecting the Logitech QuickCam E1000 (046d:08af) into Ubuntu 8.10 the
webcam don't works well, the video captured is only green screen, see
the screenshot of "gqcam -v /dev/video0" command... same problem with
all video programs tested, including skype.
