I found a way to solve the problem, which was rooted in some pid problems. The solution is here:https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/opencryptoki/+bug/290874. In the debdiff file, you have the change to apply to the /etc/init.d/opencryptoki script. Once these changes are applied, the pkcsslotd can be stopped and hence, opencryptoki package can be uninstalled. If you want to upgrade to the intrepid-proposed packages, I recommend that you uninstall the packages and then install the new ones.
