Thank you for reporting this behavior and helping to improve Ubuntu. I
have marked this as a duplicate of Bug 160738, which appears to describe
the same behavior. If you feel that I have done this in error, please
advise.
I will comment on the other Bug report, but I just tested the behavior
against Gnome 2.24.1 (Jaunty), and it works as you desire.
