I saw the same error using somewhat heavy OpenGL programs on my IBM
Thinkpad X31. As was suggested, I tried switching to EXA, but that
didn't help. Tried again the next day, with a few additional options,
and haven't seen it yet (even with programs that always gave errors,
like using transitions in keyjnote and running openarena). In addition,
there's a noticeable speed up. I've attached my xorg.conf, perhaps it's
worth a shot?
