Have you tried with other files than those you linked to? I have tried many
jpg:s from different sources, and vlc refused to crash. It didn't show the pics
for more than a half a second of course, but it didn't crash.
Also tried this inside my virtual XP installation, latest vlc, it did not crash
with your files, so this is probably isolated to the linux version.
We are dealing with two issues here, right?
1. Vlc could show the pictures without closing them at EOI. (future request)
2. Vlc does not handle some (perhaps a little corrupted) jpg:s correctly. It
should show the images anyway, or if it is impossible, tell us why. That part
of it can be confirmed.
