Bug 284057 is limited to random freezes on Elias K Gardner's hardware,
where the mouse is movable but CTL+ALT+BKSP does not restart the X
server.

If your symptoms or hardware are different, please do not post to this
bug report. Please feel free to subscribe and monitor this bug and try
any workarounds, but this specific bug may actually be different from
yours. Please check for a bug report that matches your specific hardware
and symptoms, or open a new bug report for your issue.

If your symptoms and hardware are identical, please compare the postings
to your own test results, and please contribute to help resolve this
bug.

Elias K Gardner, please include the following additional information, if you
have not already done so (pay attention to lspci's additional options), as
required by the Ubuntu Kernel Team:
1. (NOW) Please include the output of the command "uname -a" in your next
response. It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel
version you're running, as well as the CPU architecture.
2. (NOW) Please run the command "sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log" and attach
the resulting file "lspci-vvnn.log" to this bug report.
3. (FRESH BOOT) Please run the command "dmesg > dmesg.boot.log" after a fresh
boot and attach the resulting file "dmesg.boot.log" to this bug report.
4. (AFTER A FREEZE) Please run the command "dmesg > dmesg.crash.log" after a
fresh boot and attach the resulting file "dmesg.crash.log" to this bug report.
5. (AFTER A FREEZE) Please attach file "/var/log/syslog" to this bug report.

Thanks in advance
