ant 1.7.1-0ubuntu1 has a "recommend" dependency on "default-jdk | java-
compiler | java-sdk".
With the new policy in 8.10 of installing recommends by default, that
might cause the installation of openjdk-6-jre even when another JRE is
already installed. Or maybe the previously installed jre package did not
provide "java-sdk".
Which JRE package did you have installed before installing ant?
