Hi Ian, Just a message to inform you that with the latest updates of Linux in my version of Ubuntu 8.10 it crashed and would not run, that is start. So I uninstalled it in Windows Vista Home Basic and reinstalled Wubi-selfextract.exe from http://wubi-installer.org/devel.minefield. I then did not update any of the 13 updates to Linux and Wubi runs fine. So the problem is definately in Linux and it's updates. With regard to my Intel motherboard.
