In Ubuntu 8.10 (Upgraded from Gutsy) I have an odd behaviour concerning sound. 
Sound doesn't work normally, just when I press the "mute" and "Volume down" 
hardware buttons rapidly alternately sound sometimes works in VLC Player or 
Amarok, but not in the Opera Flash plugin.
Sound controller is: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) 
AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 01)
Kernel Version is: 2.6.27-9-generic
