I've upgraded to the latest Ubuntu (8.10) on my Thinkpad G41, and the up and down volume buttons now trigger XF86AudioRaiseVolume and LowerVolume respectively. So that works. However, the mute button seems to ALSO trigger the XF86RaiseVolume event, rather than some sort of mute event as it should.
So I would call this bug about half fixed... And thanks very much for the half that works! -- Volume control keys on thinkpad stopped working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/222552 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
