I've upgraded to the latest Ubuntu (8.10) on my Thinkpad G41, and the up
and down volume buttons now trigger XF86AudioRaiseVolume and LowerVolume
respectively. So that works. However, the mute button seems to ALSO
trigger the XF86RaiseVolume event, rather than some sort of mute event
as it should.

So I would call this bug about half fixed... And thanks very much for
the half that works!
