well, I'm the reporter, but I'm also the developer. I had this vision
if you will, that GUIs were becoming more prevalent in Ubuntu, and non
of the GUIs taught you how to use the command line. The GUI just
teaches you how to use itself, and helps you get done whatever task, in
a quick and easy manner with minimal effort.

I wanted a GUI that instead of teaching me how to use that particular
GUI, it teaches you how to use the cli, without loosing the benefits of
quickly and easily completing tasks.

So, I created this project that uses python, gtk, and vte. Instead of
buttons just making changes to your system, the buttons push commands
the the cli, which subsequently make changes to your system.

Anyway, I filed this bug report because I didn't know how to package
myself, and the packaging documents only seemed to address how to make a
basic package. The don't address how to integrate with the desktop.

And that was awhile ago. I've kinda stopped developing it, and no one
besides me is using it. It sucks working by yourself. So, until there
is more interest, including my part, I want to table this bug report.
maybe, instead of setting it private...
