Hi itsme, There is a newer 2.6.27-10.20 kernel in intrepid-proposed that you might want to test to see if it helps. To test this kernel do the following:
1) cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d 2) create a file "intrepid-proposed.list" (ie sudo vim intrepid-proposed.list) which contains the following two lines: deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ intrepid-proposed main deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ intrepid-proposed main 3) sudo apt-get update 4) sudo apt-get install linux-image-2.6.27-10-generic 5) sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/intrepid-proposed.list 6) sudo apt-get update Steps 5 and 6 basically undo the enabling of intrepid-proposed so you're not constantly updating your system with packages from intrepid- proposed. Of course you'll finally need to reboot into the 2.6.27-10.20 kernel to test. Please let us know your results. If the issue still exists, I'll try to work with you to narrow down the bad patch.
