Pedro, I believe you are mistaken in your interpretation of the cause
for the bug. This jumping behaviour is seen in a number of programs, and
clearly related to the screen height of only 600pixel, as is typical for
netbooks. I think there is some hardcoding about the expected screen
height, which results in this behaviour.
I have reported this same faulty behaviour for other programs already,

Having a multimedia program acting incorrectly particularly on a
netbook, where you can have music-on-the-go is unfortunate.
