Thanks for reporting this bug. I tried to reproduce it and was unable to do so.
Could you be a bit more specific about your usecase.
What I did was:
Create a page.
Make some changes
Quit KJots
Open KJots
Make more changes
Close Kjots
I repeated this 4-5 times and each time my changes were saved. You said
that saving only fails sometimes. Roughly how often do you think this
is? If you go to Settings > Configure KJots what autosave settings do
you have? My system shows the 'Save periodically' checkbox ticked and
the interval set to 5 minutes.
