Binary package hint: subversion
I used select-editor to select an editor, and it didn't work for svn.
cvs has been modified to use /usr/bin/sensible-editor by default. svn
uses /usr/bin/editor (Debian bugs #162632, #164371 set this behaviour).
This seems inconsistent. svn should use /usr/bin/sensible-editor, so
that select-editor actually works.
I also have proposed what may be a "better" fix in LP bug #304172.
