In my case it turns out to be the broadcom binary blob for the wifi dell 1505 a/b/g/n card. On hardy it suspends and resumes ok. On intrepid, I have to remove both "wl" and "ieee80211_crypt" before hibernation and add them back after resume. Unfortunately this results in the wifi hardware grabbing the "ssb" driver during the resume. The only fix on intrepid seems to be rmmod and modprobe, which disrupts the network. I'm surprised it works ok on hardy but not intrepid. Oh well, that's the nature of binary's.
Anyway, hibernate is now working again. -- Resume from Hibernate fails if laptop was previously suspended https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273986 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
