Why is the importance of this bug set to 'wishlist'? Isnt this something that
is not working the way it is intended to, rather than a feature request?Having
the page zoom functionality would be a wishlist, but asking for a broken page
zoom functionality to be fixed would be a proper bug (Low priority, maybe).
Is a wishlist simply because, strictly speaking, the bug affects a feature
that one can live without? I (and many others using high ppi displays) would
like to disagree bcos it can sometimes be really hard to read webpages
(designed for standard 96ppi displays) without zooming. And with more people
having high ppi displays nowadays, it is not a wishlist anymore, but an
accessibility issue.
But one rather curious point that I would like to bring to the attention of
whoever is working on the bug is my comment above:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/217908/comments/26
It gives me an impression that the bug fix might be easier to fix that I
imagine it to be. But I'm no developer and I could not know for sure.
