Hello Bryce,
unfortunately, from time to time this bug reappears.
It is quite hard to debug it though. When it happens (i.e. screen
totally scrambled) It is enough to press an Alt+Ctrl+F1 to bring the
correct screen back. Notice that this is a weird behaviour too, since
with this combination normally I get console number one. Instead, when
the bug occurs, I get the X screen again and it is correctly displayed.
At this point I recognize that this is quite difficult to track down.
Still, since it occurred to me some days ago, I attach to this bug the
whole set of Xorg logs I have in my /var/log, I hope that you can find
this useful.
If you have any other suggestion that can help to track this down,
please just let me know.
