yea it is on dual boot actually one quick question if you dont mind, i have a 64-bit processor the turion ultra from amd. i was thinking could that also be part of the issue and even if not should i still instead just install the 32-bit version of ubuntu? would that be better or rather give me a wider range of software to pick from?
