Hi Leann,
I installed the 2.6.27-10.20 kernal per your directions.
I rebooted with the new kernel 4X, this is the result:
1. Ran for about 10 minutes, and display got corrupted.
Normally the display corruption is a signal of a hard crash.
But I was unable to make it crash.
If you remember, my display is using shared system RAM.
I noticed that I had used all but about 1.5G of HDD, so I removed about
10G and rebooted.
2. This ran for more than an hour, no problem.
3. I did not keep good notes for this one, I think it crashed.
4. This ran for about 4 minutes with a hard crash.
Did not respond to:
ctrl-alt-delete
ctrl-alt-back space
alt-print screen R+S+E+I+U+B
This bug is difficult to reproduce, occurring about half the time.
Do you want to remotely login?
