Description: Ubuntu 8.10

When logging into the system or unlocking the screensaver in Ubuntu
8.10, passwords over 8 characters are not recognized. My password is 15
characters and I mistyped the last character and as allowed in. I kept
reducing characters until I was not allowed to log into the system. All
characters above 8 characters is not recognized.
